Aerotel Kuala Lumpur is Malaysia’s first and only airport hotel situated in an airport terminal shopping mall and is located in gateway@klia2 in Terminal klia2, KL International Airport (KLIA).
 
Jointly launched by YB (The Honourable) Mr Anthony Loke Siew Fook, Minister of Transport, Malaysia and Mr Song Hoi-see, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Plaza Premium Group, the opening event saw a turnout of over 160 invited guests and dignitaries. 



A rousing Lion Dance performance welcomed the Guest of Honour and all guests were feted to a sumptuous flow of food and beverage specialities from the adjoining Aerotel BAR and Plaza Premium Lounge.  Many took the opportunity to take a quick tour of the hotel, and a view of the guest rooms.

“Terminal klia2 in an important transit hub, handling over 30.3 million passengers in 2017 whilst 17.16 million passengers have already come through this terminal as of July 2018.  The transit travellers market segment is significant to our business, hence, it augured well for the Group to build and operate Aerotel here in klia2”, says Mr Song Hoi-see, the Group’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer at the launch.

Offering four room types; Solo Plus, Double Plus, Double Squared and the Family Room, sized between 20 and 34 square metres, all 78 rooms are comfortably furnished with thoughtful amenities for the travellers.

Rooms rates start from RM280.00, RM364.00 and RM571.00 for a 6-hour stay in a Solo Plus Room, Double Plus Room and Double Squared/ Family Room respectively. All room rates are quoted in Ringgit Malaysia (MYR).
