Elevated Level of Comfort and Convenience to Passengers in Transit in New International Terminal

4th December 2018, Guangzhou Aerotel, the world’s first and largest airport transit hotel chain started operations in the new Terminal 2 of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport in collaboration with Hangwan Hotel Asset Management Company of Guangdong Airport Authority. The 57-room hotel is Aerotel’s sixth location in the world.

Strategically located in the secured area at the International, Departure level, Aerotel Guangzhou serves departing and transiting passengers travelling to and from China cities connecting onto international flights. Introduced in April this year, Guangzhou’s new airport Terminal 2 is the largest single airport terminal building in China and is set to become a world class aviation hub in the provincial capital.

Aerotel Guangzhou features three room types: Double, Solo and Solo Plus - designed for different travel sizes from single, couple to group and family. Each feature is seamlessly designed to suit transitting travellers’ needs, offering flexible hourly booking options, comfortable sleep and  powerful showers for guests to refresh before connecting to their next flight. All rooms are equipped with high-quality bedding, bottled water, slippers and complimentary Wi-Fi. For Solo room categories, guests have access to the shared shower area.  A Library Lounge is available to offer light bites and entertainment including TV and reading materials for guests to relax in a cosy environment away from the busy airport terminal.

Opening rates at Aerotel Guangzhou starts at RMB380 (US$56) for three hours, with an extra rate of RMB105 (US$15) per additional hour, prices are inclusive of 6% tax.
